Dennis P. McManus

Dennis P. McManus is the former Government Affairs Director for Greater
Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and former Assistant Vice Chancellor for
Governmental Relations with the University of Pittsburgh.


Food system-related experience includes co-chairing the Pittsburgh Food
Policy Council Board of Directors and chairing the Hunger-Free Pennsylvania
Government Relations Committee. He on Feed America’s Policy Engagement and Advocacy Committee and Feeding PA’s Advocacy
Committee. McManus also worked as consultant to the National Commodity
Supplemental Food Program Association and the Pennsylvania Hunger Action
Center.  


McManus earned his BA and M. Ed degrees at the University of Pittsburgh where he continues to teach as
adjunct professor with the Institute of Politics and Elsie Hillman Civic Forum.
